Parents

January 17, 2019

Dear Families,

As we move through the New Year and towards Spring, the days are starting to get longer and the busier we are getting at Bonner & Prendie. It's hard to believe that next week we end the second quarter and begin the second half of the school year
(on January 28). You will see throughout the newsletter a multitude of events, programs, and fundraisers happening in the next few weeks. My hope is that you, your student, and family will partake in some of these great opportunities.

Next week I will be sending you an invitation to participate in our annual Continuous Improvement Survey (CIS) for Parents.
Last year we did not participate in this project (because of the Middle States survey that was sent out) but did so the two years previous. This is a great opportunity for families to share their thoughts and opinions about the school as well as provide some critical feedback as we strive to make Bonner & Prendie a better place for all. The survey itself will launch on February 4 and remain open until March 1.

Speaking of Middle States...although you may have not heard much about it in the last few weeks, know that we look forward
to sharing with you more information about the team's visit once finalized by the Middle States Accreditation (MSA) Commission on Secondary Schools. In the closing presentation, the visiting team identified specific areas of strength as well as areas we could use some improvement. Overall, the visiting team was recommending to the MSA Commission that Bonner & Prendie receive re-accreditation for the next seven years. We now await the Commission's final approval and written report; at which
time we will share with our community.

In closing, in two weeks we celebrate National Catholic Schools Week (January 27-February 2, 2019). The week is an annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. Throughout the week we will have activities at the school for students, parishioners, staff, teachers, and other community members who support the mission of Catholic education. A precursor to that
is the opportunity to thank you our parents and families who sacrifice so much to send your students to Bonner & Prendie. I
thank you again for all you do to support our school and the success of your student!

Thank You and God Bless,
Dr. John Cooke
President
Monsignor Bonner and Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School

As metioned before............

Per the tuition policy, please be sure that your FACTS account is current and not more than 90 days behind.
Privileges may be revoked if the account is not up to date, including eligibility to receive transcripts, attend dances
and other events. If you need assistance in making a payment, you should call Mrs. Wiercioch in the Tuition Office
at (610) 259-0280, extension 1276.

Finally, although the financial aid application priority deadline has passed, you may still apply for financial aid for the
2019-2020 academic year. Please remember, priority is always given to those who submit a completed application so
do so sooner rather than later. Anyone receiving financial aid for the 2018-2109 year will need to re-apply for the
2019-2020 academic year.  Please visit the financial aid page on the website for more information. In addition, there
are a number of scholarships offered each year at Bonner & Prendie as well. Check out the scholarships page on our website to see what opportunities your students may qualify.
