Get ready for a madcap mix-up of the Middle Ages in this medieval comedy! “A troupe of travelling players happily believe they’ve volunteered to perform their play about a dragon for King Stanley The Stern. Actually, they’ve volunteered to slay a real dragon! When they discover their mistake, it’s too late to back out - but how can they succeed where so many brave heroes have failed? Fortunately, they’ll get help from a bookish prince who knows the secret of dragon snot, a royal princess in disguise, a blind con woman, and a pair of stinky shoes! But will it all be enough to keep them from becoming dragon food? This play is full of humor and excitement, thrills, danger, laughter and true love. What more could you ask for? It is... Auditions will be the evening of Monday, September 23rd beginning at 6:30 PM.
Callbacks will follow on Thursday, September 26th.
A PLAY ABOUT A DRAGON will have three public performances...
Friday, November 15th @ 7:30 PM
Saturday, November 16th @ 7:30 PM
Sunday, November 17th @ 2:00 PM
There will be a private matinee for local grade schools who wish to attend on Friday, November 15th @ 10:30 AM. Schools who wish to attend may begin emailing [email protected] to reserve seats.

BREAKING NEWS...
We are honored to share that an alum donor has given our school a significant grant to improve the lighting and sound systems in our auditorium! With this gift, we have purchased 30+ brand new lights, a new lighting console, and new (larger) sound board, new microphones, and all technology/cables needed to run these new programs. Most of this new technology has been installed and in use today!! Please join us in a rousing THANK YOU to those who have just cemented the future of our theater program!
