Clubs & Activities
As part of a holistic education, students at Bonner & Prendie are encouraged to get involved by joining one or several activities offered on campus. You are encouraged to read below and learn more about the many opportunities to get involved while at Bonner & Prendie!
New activities are initiated each year and established ones are discontinued, depending upon student interest, demand and school resources, but are always subject to the approval of the Assistant Principal for Student Affairs and the school administration. Students interested in starting a new activity should contact the Assistant Principal for Student Affairs.
ACTIVITY REPRESENTATIVES

A branch of Student Council, Activity Representatives serve as each Homeroom's personal representative to Student Council. Each homeroom elects their Representative at the start of the school year. Reps are responsible for delivering homeroom mail daily, as well as participating in Student Council events.

ADVOCACY CLUB

Students engage in conversation and tackle the topics taking place in and outside of our school that interest you. Come and engage and learn to work through discourse and help build a community where everyone belongs.

AMBASSADORS COUNCIL

Interested in helping out at Open Houses, School Tours, and 7th Grade Visitation Day? Freshmen, would you like to host your future classmates for their Shadow Day? Join our Ambassadors Club!

ANIME CLUB

Do you like anime? Explore the world of anime with students who enjoy watching and sketching this Japanese style of film and television.

ART CLUB

Interested in exploring your talents in art? Join this after school club to work together with other students to dabble in new art mediums, learn new techniques and create pieces individually or with other students.

BOOK CLUB

Do you love to read? Have a favorite author? Want to connect and discuss books with other students? The Book Club is the club for you! Join other students to select books to read, then discuss characters, plot and more!

GAMIING and VIDEO GAME CLUB

Check mate! Attend the after-school meetings of the Gaming club in our new Gaming console room! Our students will even compete wtih other schools! Games of all styles are featured, from strategy to humor! Students can bring their own games, or play whatever's on tap for the next meeting!

CAMPUS MINISTRY TEAM

Do you altar serve at your parish? Do you have an interest in reading at school liturgies? How about leading the cause in Campus Service projects like Feed My Starving Children or Care Cures? Students with an interest in connecting their education to their Catholic faith can join the Campus Ministry Team and help!

CODING CLUB

Join other students who want to write code to complete tasks and create new things. Students will work in small group teams and meet regularly.

CREATIVE WRITING CLUB

Calling all writers! Explore new formats of writings and ways of expressing yourself! The Creative Writing Club offers students the creative outlet to put pen to paper and write! No previous experience necessary! All writers are welcome!

COMMUNITY SERVICE CLUB

Join the C.S.C. - the largest organization on campus! The Community Service Club works weekly to provide service to those in need, both in our community and outside of our community. Projects include food drives, Soup-er Bowl of Giving, Christmas Present Donations and Wrappings, and beyond! Make a difference in the world today!

THE CRUX (YEARBOOK)

When our two schools merged in 2012, the Bon Aire and the Crozier combined into The Crux. Students participate each year in creating the yearbook and actually are offered to take a Yearbook course during the school day to contribute! Whether you want to be a photographer or content creator, the opportunity exists working for The Crux!

DEBATE CLUB

Refine your public speaking skills while perfecting debates in the Debate Club! Pick a side, do the research, and build your case! Students in the Debate Club get the chance to find a passion and fight for the cause. Build confidence and enhance your knowledge throughout the process!

DANCE TEAM

Bust a move! The Dance Team performs at school events ranging from halftimes of sporting events, talent shows, and pep rallies! The Team auditions each year, and all grade levels are welcome to audition!

DJ Moon is looking for students interested in providing music and MC services for events. Students will have the chance to learn the art and meet various professionals in the area for guidance. Meetings will be held once a week.

THEATER

One of our largest traditions and activities each year is the School Musical! Bonner & Prendie produces two full-length musicals each school year, in the Fall and Spring! No experience is needed to audition, and every student who auditions makes the team! Whether it's Hamilton or Les Mis that gets you pumped, get involved in Theater!

ENVIRONMENTAL/NATURE CLUB

Join the Environmental/Nature Club to learn about environmental issues and nature and help educate the public about these issues. Have some fun in nature, enjoy a hike and complete service projects like trail clean ups.

THE FRI-PAN (SCHOOL NEWSPAPER)

One of our longest-standing traditions on campus is the School Newspaper. Be a reporter and contributor for the Fri-Pan! Submit stories about recent campus activities, interview new faculty, and tell the stories you want to tell! Students of all grade levels can participate!

FRIAR NATION

This club is for Bonner students to gather and do activities together. This brotherhood is also responsible for taking pride in their school.

GIRL-UP CLUB

Taken from the Girl Up Community website, "Girl Up ignites the empowerment of girls, by girls around the world. In partnership with the United Nations, we stand up for girls, speak up for programs that help them thrive, and rise up as a community of advocates out to change the world, for good. Girls are powerful. When they’re educated, healthy, safe, and counted, they transform their communities."

HI-Q TEAM

Do you know the answer? Students are invited to participate in the Hi-Q team and compete in trivia/knowledge based competitions throughout the region. During the Hi-Q season, students travel to other schools for competitions! During days in which the competition is hosted at Bonner & Prendie, the school is invited to the auditorium to watch and cheer the team!

Love the quadratic formula? Do algorithms excite you? Can you find x?! Participate in region-wide math competitions as a Mathlete! Students with a passion for math are welcome to compete for the team!

MOCK TRIAL CLUB

Mock Trial has proven to be one of our most popular and successful clubs on campus! Students are offered the chance to participate and gain experience as lawyers, witnesses, and prosecutors! Each year, the Mock Trial team travels to the Delaware County Courthouse to compete in a trial against another school's team!
MUSIC CLUB (G3 CHORUS & BAND)

Students at Bonner & Prendie are offered the chance to take Chorus and Instrumental Music as Art Electives; however, the Music Club exists for musicians outside of the classroom! Whether you're in the band/chorus or not, come after school throughout the week to join! Jam with friends and sing with classmates!

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

The National Honor Society organization dedicated to recognizing and encouraging outstanding high school students in grades 10-12. Students in the NHS must meet the four pillars of NHS: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. This organization is by invite only.

Love being a Prendie Panda? Be part of Panda Pride, the spirit behind our long-stranding Prendergast traditions! Help out at Prendie alumnae events and continue the spirit of Archbishop Prendergast High School!

PAUSE FOR A CAUSE

As part of a continued movement of service to others, the Pause for a Cause club has raised funds and marched in walks to fight diseases such as Diabetes and Alzheimer's, as well as led events to encourage Autism awareness and Mental Health awareness! Make a difference on campus and give to those in need of service!

Take a passionate stand against bullying and join the Positivity Club. The Positivity Club is committed to empowering a community of kindness on the Bonner & Prendie campus. Help plan events and create uplifting posters for campus in the Positivity Club!

RESPECT LIFE CLUB

Fight for those who can't fight for themselves! Give voice to the unborn! Students in the Respect Life Club attend the annual March For Life in Washington D.C., among other local Pro-Life rallies and events.

STAGE CREW

Our Stage Crew assists with on-campus activity maintenance, building sets for the School Musical, and as technical assistance during school assemblies and events! Students in Stage Crew learn hands-on tasks of building, design, and construction. Whether it's painting or sound design that excites you, find your niche in Stage Crew!

STUDENT COUNCIL

Get involved in Student Council and BE A LEADER! Elections are held each school year to determine Student Council Class Presidents and Officers. All students who run for council are elected and will be a driving force of service throughout the year. Student Council participates in a majority of school events, and enacts changes to enhance the student experience!
WINTER/SPRING DRAMA

As alternatives to the school musicals, the Drama Productions serve as fundraisers for the Theater Fund each year! These smaller-scale productions are straight plays, performed on one or two nights. While smaller than our full size musicals, our Dramas give our students the chance to participate in FOUR full length theatrical productions a year!
