Sister Ann Health IHM '68: Sister Ann Heath (Marguerite Heath 1968), who served on the staff of the Miter, now serves as the Editor of the Journal of Higher Education Management for the American Association of University Administrators. The most recent edition focuses on Artificial Intelligence use and is entitled Beyond Automation: How AI is Enhancing Leadership in Higher Education.
Barbara Bosha '71: Boshā is proud to celebrate 40 years as a full-service communications and design firm. Among the many meaningful projects over the years, her agency was honored to create the new branding when Bonner and Prendergast united as one school—bringing together two respected legacies into a shared identity and future.
David Cregan, OSA '85: Fr. David Cregan, O.S.A., was honored with Merrimack College’s Saint Augustine Medal. The former Merrimack College trustee was recognized for a life of Augustinian ministry, scholarship, education and service.
Michael McKenzie '94: RFC career Battalion Chief/EMT Mike McKenzie was promoted to Deputy Chief at the Upper Darby Fire Department. Mike has held careers at both RFC and Upper Darby for many years.
He is currently one of four Battalion Chiefs at RFC. Congratulations to Mike for this tremendous achievement!

Anthony Becht '95: ARLINGTON, TEXAS (June 11, 2026) – The United Football League announced today that Orlando Storm Head Coach Anthony Becht has been named the 2026 Buddy Teevens UFL Coach of the Year.
Following the announcement of the Orlando Storm as a UFL expansion franchise, Anthony Becht was named the team’s head coach on Dec. 23, 2025. In his first season leading the Storm, Becht guided Orlando to a league-best 8-2 regular season record and the franchise’s first playoff appearance.
“I'm honored and grateful to receive this award,” said Becht. “Individual awards are always about the people around you. When you surround yourself with a great coaching staff and 50 players who fully buy into the process, you’re always rewarded tenfold on the backend. This award is a reflection of the commitment and work put in by everyone in our organization.”
The 2026 season marked the second consecutive year a Becht-led team finished with the league’s best regular season record. Across four seasons as a UFL/XFL head coach, Becht has compiled an overall 30-10 regular season record.
Orlando won four of their first five games, earning victories over the Columbus Aviators (23-16), the Louisville Kings twice (19-9 and 29-27), and the Birmingham Stallions (16-0). In Week Eight, the Storm clinched a playoff spot with a 31-24 victory over Dallas at Toyota Stadium in Fort Hood, Texas.
Under Becht's leadership, quarterback Jack Plummer delivered a standout inaugural campaign, leading the UFL in both passing yards (2,188) and completions (195). Orlando also paced the league offensively, finishing first in total yards with 2,803. Prior to joining Orlando, Becht spent three seasons as head coach of the St. Louis Battlehawks, leading the franchise to a 22-8 regular-season record and consecutive playoff appearances.
The UFL Coach of the Year Award is named in honor of Buddy Teevens, a longtime head coach at Dartmouth College, who was celebrated for his forward-thinking approach, unwavering commitment to player safety and well-being, and lasting impact on the game of football over a nearly 40-year coaching career. Teevens earned widespread respect for his ability to build winning programs, including leading the Big Green to five Ivy League Championships, but more importantly, exemplified leadership, innovation, integrity, and commitment to the development of his players both as athletes and people. He believed that football was a vehicle for teaching character, accountability, resilience, and teamwork - lessons that would serve his players long after their playing days had ended.
He was a true pioneer who consistently challenged conventional thinking in pursuit of excellence, whether through new approaches to player safety, embracing emerging technology, or fostering a culture built on trust and respect, he demonstrated that great coaching requires both courage and compassion. He also famously championed diversity and opportunity within his coaching staff and his commitment to creating opportunities for women in coaching fostered a more inclusive environment that broke down barriers for women in football. Sadly the world lost Coach Teevens in September 2023 but his legacy lives on through this award.
Jenna Haley '10: Haverford Township recently welcomed new Officers. Officer Haley recently graduated from Montgomery County Police Academy and will be completing in house training prior to joining patrol platoons.
Kyle Lazer '21: Kyle Lazer pitches West Chester to DII Championship Game. He brought them to the National Finals in Cary, North Carolina for the first time since 2022.
Michael Anderson '22: Drafted by the Texas Rangers in the fifth round (149th overall) of the 2026 MLB Draft as a two-way player.
Jack Esher '22: Haverford Township recently welcomed new Officers. Officer Esher recently graduated from Montgomery County Police Academy and will be completing in house training prior to joining patrol platoons.

Kate Danaher Parks '67: UNSTOPPABLE, The Victoria Woodhull Story. This is Kate Danaher's first novel. She holds a Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Delaware and is a former professor of English at Rosemont College, Pennsylvania. She is an Irish storyteller, fiddler, and a founder and emeritus board member of the Irish Heritage Theater in Philadelphia. She also performed with and served on the board of the Delaware Shakespeare Festival. Under the name Danaher and Cloud, she and her music partner, Amy Cloud Chambers, produced four Americana albums: Portraits, Late Bloomers, The Holiday Album, and the multi-award-winning album for kids, Just Kiddin'. All available on popular streaming services. An avid tennis player, she lives in Bonita Springs, Florida, with her husband, Bill Parks. They spend their summers in Troy, New York.

Kevin Kelly '79: Was ordained permanent deacon for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on May 9, in the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul during a Mass celebrated by Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez.
He is a member of St. Bernadette Parish in Drexel Hill. He serves as executive director of operations and finance at the National Catholic Bioethics Center. He is the father of James Kelly, who will marry Kelsey Brown on July 11, 2026. His wife, Patty, died in 2005. Earned a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary. He also holds a Master of Arts in classical studies from Villanova University, a Master of Science in educational administration from St. Joseph’s University, and a doctorate in educational leadership from Immaculata University.
Robert Callahan '83: Was appointed as the first ever Assistant Fire Chief of the Upper Darby Fire Department. Upper Darby Mayor Ed Brown did the swearing in for Callahan who returns home to Upper Darby Township. He spent his previous 33 years serving the District of Columbia in various roles including Deputy Fire Chief. He began his career as a junior firefighter with the Springfield Fire Department and later served with the Garrettford-Drexel Hill Fire Company. Assistant Chief Callahan’s appointment further bolsters Upper Darby’s Fire Department with another experienced veteran with experience in leadership, fireground command, operations, and administrative projects.
Brian Quilter '88: While in Rome last September Brian had the honor to meet His Holiness, Pope Leo XIV twice! The first time was on Monday, September 1st at the church of Sant Agostino in Rome. Second meeting was on Wednesday, September 3rd following the General Audience in Saint Peter's Square.

Matthew Goldschmidt '02: The Upper Darby Fire Department welcomes a new member. Matt graduated from Delaware County Community College. He previously worked as a Police Officer in the Township of Chester and Volunteer Firefighter in Upper Darby. He has served in the United States Air Force since 2003 and received the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award and was deployed in support of Iraqi Freedom.

Brian Boyle '09: Enters his first season as an assistant coach with Air Force men’s basketball for the 2026-27 season. Boyle comes to the Academy after over a decade in the NBA and NBA-G League, most recently with the Greensboro Swarm, the 2026 NBA G League Champions.
Michael Anderson '22: Penn State baseball senior Michael Anderson was honored with an All-Big Ten first-team selection. Finished his collegiate career with a .308 average, .616 slugging percentage and .422 on-base percentage. Tallied 173 hits with 38 doubles, three triples and 43 home runs. Collected 137 RBI and 120 runs.
Among current D1 players, Anderson ranks 35th in career home runs (43; tied-third among Big Ten players) and one of 34 players (one of four Big Ten) with 43+ home runs and 137+ RBI in their career.
He is one of two D1 players this season averaging 414+ feet on 20+ home runs.

Clara Schneberger Gill '69: In 2001, I started my graduate work at the University of Central Florida. As a science teacher, I was aware of the overlap between science and math education but frustrated because it was never acknowledged in curriculum guides. I made it my goal to prove the commonalities. In 2010, UCF conferred my Doctoral Degree. My dissertation studied the connections between science and math education in middle school textbooks. It was published and can still be accessed on the internet under my full name, Clara Joanne Schneberger Gill.
John Patrick McGillian '92: Congratulations to John Patrick McGillian ’92 on being named to the 2026 Philadelphia St. Patrick’s Day Parade Ring of Honor. We celebrate this Upper Darby native John Patrick McGillian ’92, a traditional Irish musician whose lifelong passion for music has made him a beloved fixture in the Philadelphia Irish community. From hosting traditional sessions to performing throughout the region, John has helped keep Irish music and culture vibrant for generations. He resides in Secane with his wife, Jessica Blasi McGillian ’96.

Thomas O'Leary '64: The Springfield Township St. Patrick’s Parade Committee announced longtime Delaware County resident Thomas O’Leary Jr., supervisor of the O’Leary Funeral Home, will be his year’s grand marshal for the township’s annual St. Patrick’s Parade on Saturday, March 14.
Thomas Stewart '64: Congrats to Bonner alum Tom Stewart '64 who was recently honored with a lifetime achievement award from the Markward Basketball Club. Tom was a long time coach at both St. James and at Archbishop Prendergast. Tom had a distinguished coaching career with over 500 wins.
Art Hunter '68: Shoutout to Bonner basketball great Art Hunter '68 who severed as the emcee at the recent Markward Award Luncheon earlier this month.
Grace Bubulka '69: Published her fourth historical fiction novel, "Ida's Secrets". Set against the backdrop of Depression-era Philadelphia, the story follows an immigrant woman who rises above poverty, trauma and mental illness to reinvent herself-only to confront the past she thought she'd left behind.

Dave Koskinen '84: Congratulations to Bonner alum Dave Koskinen '84 who was honored with a lifetime achievement award by the Markward Basketball Club at their recent luncheon. Dave was a guard on both the '83 and '84 PCL Championship teams at Bonner. Dave went on to an outstanding career at St. Francis University .
Jim Welde '84: Congratulations to Bonner alum Jim Welde '84 who was honored with a lifetime achievement award from the Markward Basketball Club at their recent luncheon. Jim is a two time PCL champion for Bonner in 1983 and 1984. He went on to have a great career at Cabrini College and later came back to be the Head Varsity Basketball Coach at Bonner. Jim was inducted in November to the Bonner Hall of Fame.

Michael Anderson '22: The Daily Collegian Newsletter reports Penn State baseball’s Michael Anderson named to Perfect Game’s Top 100 Seniors. Perfect Game announced that infielder Matt Anderson ranked No. 12 among the Top 100 collegiate seniors. The 6-foot-3 first baseman played a total of 103 games, making 99 starts across that timeline. Last season, he led Arkansas to a College World Series appearance. Throughout his collegiate career, Anderson has batted .282, with a .551 slugging percentage and a .397 on-base percentage.
John Esher '22: Haverford Township Commissioners approved the hiring of six entry level officers for 2026. Congratulations to Jack Esher, a Haverford native and Bonner & Prendie graduate on this appointment. Jack was deployed overseas during his time in the Army Reserve. He is attending the Montgomery County Police Academy and he will work alongside his father, John Esher.
Mylachi Williams '24: Virginia Tech got another defensive line commitment from Penn State defensive end Mylachi Williams.
Robert Ford '25: Rob Ford will be joining the West Chester Rams for the 2026 Football season. His first year at Kings College proved to be a successful year with Rob being named Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Khalil Holley '25: Attends and plays football at Kings College in Wilkes Barre. Has been recognized for his outstanding playing this season. Was recognized as the Defenseive Rookie of the Year.

My business American Picture Framing Inc. celebrated our 50th Anniversary on July 8th, I started working for my Dad when I was 14 years old, I have been the owner the last 34 years."

Andrew Lowry '99: Andrew is currently the principal at at St Thomas the Apostle School. He’s finishing up his doctorate at Immaculata University. His dissertation is examining high achieving Catholic grade schools and the influence of school culture and leadership. HIs favorite faculty while in high school was Mr. McLaughlin and Mr. Watson.
