From the offensive line at Bonner & Prendie to serving as a firefighter in Montgomery County, Maryland, Nick Bozetto ’22 is already making an impact. We caught up with Nick to talk about his journey, his favorite B&P memories, and what inspires him today.
Q: What are some of your favorite memories from your time at Bonner & Prendie?
Nick: Definitely football. The friendships I made on the team and the lessons I learned from my coaches shaped me a lot. Playing under the lights, the energy from the student section—it’s something I’ll never forget.
Q: You earned quite a few honors as a student-athlete. Which ones stand out to you?
Nick: I was proud to be named First Team All-Catholic three times and First Team All-Delco. Being recognized among the top offensive linemen in Pennsylvania was huge for me too. The Mini-Max High School Award and Mini Maxwell Award were special because they weren’t just about football—they recognized academics and community involvement too.
Q: After high school, what path did you take?
Nick: I started at West Chester University, but pretty quickly realized I wanted to do something different. I’ve always been drawn to service, so I decided to pursue firefighting.
Q: What does it mean to you now to be a firefighter in Montgomery County, Maryland?
Nick: It means everything. It’s a career where you really see the impact you’re making. Every day you’re helping people—sometimes on their hardest day. It’s a big responsibility, but it’s also rewarding.
Q: How did your time at Bonner & Prendie prepare you for this role?
Nick: B&P taught me teamwork, discipline, and accountability. On the football field, you learn that your success depends on the person next to you. It’s the same in the firehouse. You can’t do it alone—you rely on your crew. That mindset started for me at Bonner & Prendie.
Q: What advice would you give current students?
Nick: Don’t be afraid to change paths if you find something you’re passionate about. The most important thing is to find a way to use your gifts to help others.
