Alumnae Committee Welcomes Sister Mary Scullion, R.S.M.

In March, over 75 community members gathered to hear Sister Mary Scullion, R.S.M., talk about how she serves the homeless in Philadelphia through her work with Project HOME. It was an inspirational event focused on mission and impact made possible by the Alumnae Committee of Bonner & Prendie's Alumni Ambassador Council. One particular member, Dottie Evangelista '66, a dedicated alumna volunteer, played an instrumental role in making this connection on behalf of Bonner & Prendie.

The Alumni Ambassador Council helps the Advancement Office manage alumni events, outreach, and communications. The Alumnae Committee focuses on maintaining the traditions and values of Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School.

Attendees of the event brought donations of food, toiletries, and clothing to contribute to the school-wide Project HOME Drive for people experiencing homelessness.

The Alumnae Committee also presented Sister Mary Scullion with a check for $1,043.71, the total monetary donations raised during the drive.

We are grateful to Dottie and the entire Alumnae Committee for their continued dedication to our mission and for bringing Sister Mary Scullion, R.S.M., to campus. Her faith, service, and impact on the Philadelphia community were inspirational.
