Personal Information
Dr. Cooke was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. After graduating from Millersville University, he served as a seventh-grade teacher at Christ the King (CTK) Elementary School in Northeast Philadelphia. At CTK he taught Science, Math, and Social Studies; served as parish Athletic Director; and coached basketball, softball and track for five years. Dr. Cooke then moved to Ohio and received his graduate degree in student affairs administration from Bowling Green State University. Upon graduation in 2003, Dr. Cooke moved back to Philadelphia and accepted a job at Drexel University in residence life. Dr. Cooke stayed at Drexel University for 12 years serving in a variety of roles. When he left Drexel, he was the Associate Dean of Students overseeing the areas of Fraternity and Sorority Life; Campus Activities; Student Leadership Development; Center City Student; Student Leadership Development; and New Student and Family Programs.
Dr. Cooke recently completed his dissertation work at Drexel University. Dr. Cooke lives in Springfield with his wife Kalen and two sons Patrick and Connor.
