What's Next for Applicants

We are so happy you applied to Bonner & Prendie!

Now that we have received your application, what happens next? Log into your SchoolAdmin Applicant Portal with the same Log In information created while completing the application. On the SchoolAdmin Applicant Portal, you should complete all three steps: Application Form, Applicant Photo, and Request for Record. Please review the Admissions Steps page for reference!

Next Steps for Applicants

Families are notified via e-mail when their student has been accepted! We mail Acceptance Letters the same day as the electronic notification. At this time, we are reviewing "Application Complete" students every other week. While you await your Admissions decision, stay informed and learn more about what B&P has to offer!

Frequently Asked Questions

Families can update their Admissions application by logging into the SchoolAdmin portal where the application was submitted. If you are unsuccessful in updating information, one of our admission representatives will be happy to assist!
We will be reviewing "Application Complete" students starting in December. Students are not considered "Application Complete" until all required steps of the Admissions Checklist on the SchoolAdmin portal are complete. Families can anticipate hearing their admissions decisions in late December.
Information pertaining to financial aid options can be found on the Affording Bonner & Prendie page. Common questions are answered on the Financial Aid FAQ.  Financial packages are sent to admitted students with the acceptance letter if your FACTS application was complete at the time of review and your family qualified for financial aid.
A copy of your current transcript is required to be accepted into Bonner & Prendie. Families should complete the Record Release Form and submit it to the applicant's current school, granting permission to send the file to our office. Transcripts should be uploaded to SchoolAdmin as soon as possible.
Letters of Recommendation are not requirements to be admitted to Bonner & Prendie. However, we do adopt the mantra that "no amount of paperwork/information is too much!" Letters of Recommendation can become helpful if a student struggles in one or two specific subjects, but has shown a commitment to improving. Teacher recommendations also assist in scholarship application processes, so having some on file can be beneficial.
As we consider each individual application, we begin with a review of the student's academic achievement over 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade. We also look beyond academics. We spend time evaluating your achievements in light of the opportunities available to you and your demonstrated capacity to contribute to the intellectual life at Bonner & Prendie. Students may complete Student Profiles to help them stand out in the Admissions process. (Example Student Profile Here)
