Here at Bonner & Prendie our goal is very ambitious but can be broken down very simply:
Build a diverse family and community of learners that is rooted in the Gospel teachings committed to producing students ready to tackle the challenges of tomorrow
This goal becomes evident as you speak to our students, families and alumni. There is something special about Bonner & Prendie. It is an intangible feeling you get when you walk into the building, go to a sporting event or simply speak with our students. We are a welcoming community where everyone has a place. There is no single description of a Bonner & Prendie student.
As a community, we respect and embrace our diverse community of learners from over 57 parishes. This commitment gives our students the freedom to explore their interests and learn from each other.
At Bonner & Prendie we challenge our students to be more than “2:30 students.” From 7:50am to 2:30pm, our students receive an education that gives them an opportunity to pursue their goals after high school. For most of our students, these goals include higher education. However, if they only attend class, they miss out on the added value of a Catholic Education at Bonner & Prendie. Our students will learn values, life lessons, and skills through their involvement in co-curricular activities and athletics.
Our students are immersed in giving of themselves to others in Community Service Corps, time management and leadership on our athletic teams, determination and dedication in our Fine Arts Department, among many others. Our Campus Ministry, Academic, Activity and Athletics programs are designed to prepare our students to grow in Faith and foster communication, collaboration and creative skills. These skills are the foundation of leading in tomorrow’s world.
This is our mission and must be lived out here every day in our actions and in our words. We continue to work to build our community not only in the classroom, but in the hallways, on the athletic fields and in our neighborhoods. We continue to look at areas where we can grow and be innovative in our approach to education.
Come for a visit to see the and experience the Bonner & Prendie difference for yourself.
With hopes of meeting you soon;
Mr. James Strandberg '99
