Teacher Certification, Saint Joseph’s University
I am a teacher of US History and am an avid history buff of all kinds. I am also very active in athletics and fitness. I referee 5 sports almost all year round. I also am very fond of lifting weights, riding bicycles, swimming, playing basketball, frisbee, football, and anything else athletic. I have always felt the importance of exercising both the body and the mind. I am a graduate of Cardinal O’Hara HS and St. Joseph’s U. I have a wife, Stacey, and 4 great children; Melanie, Gabby, Zac, and Chris.
Why Bonner and Prendie?
I originally chose Bonner because that was the job available at the time. However, I have come to really enjoy the environment and camaraderie of the school community. It is a school that if I could do high school again I would choose. There is a great family feel that goes back for decades. Whenever I wear one of my Bonner shirts (at least 1/2 my wardrobe) I always get comments by alums who still speak of their experiences with a glow in their eyes. Good schools provide a good education, great schools provide a home. The alums from Bonner and Prendergast and Bonner/Prendie constantly refer to this school (s) as their home.
