Bonner and Prendergast Fall and Spring shows scenery
Mr. John Lenge is a 1978 Graduate of St. James Catholic High School in Chester. After earning an AD in Commercial Art at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, he returned to his Alma mater to teach Art. When St. James closed in 1993, he was transferred to Monsignor Bonner and has taught Art, Related Art, Algebra, Geometry and Engineering Graphics. Mr. Lenge is usually involved in some sort of project around the school at any given time; preferring to be a candle lighter, than to curse the darkness. When he is not in school he likes to spend time with his family, especially his best friend and wife, Margie. Mr. Lenge also enjoys riding his Harley on weekends with his friends, revisiting his band days by playing his drums, listening to rock, jazz, big band music and anything that involves lots of horsepower. His daughter, Sabrina (Prendergast 2002) has said that “he is in a permanent mid-life crisis”. His son, Justin (Bonner 2008) just says “no comment”.
Why Bonner & Prendergast?
When I lost my home school, Bonner seemed the natural choice. I have not been disappointed. This campus has really become my second home. I enjoy coming to school each day and working with the students and my fellow faculty members. Every day is like a family reunion.
