Personal Information

Mrs. Toner graduated from Villanova University in 1973 with her B.S. in Secondary Education, English and is a member of NCTE. In 1984, she completed her M.A. in Religious Studies from St. Charles Seminary. After teaching in the elementary school system for 23 years (St. Clement; Holy Spirit; St. Charles Borromeo), Mrs. Toner moved to the secondary system and was thrilled to work at her beloved alma mater where she has taught Theology and English. She has been enjoying the students and staff for the past 18 years and was honored to be inducted into the Archbishop Prendergast Hall of Fame in 2014.

Mrs. Toner has appreciated being able to participate forming Bonner and Prendergast into the strong school it has become. Forming new traditions while honoring many of the old, she feels fortunate to have had the privilege of witnessing and living the transformation.

Why Bonner & Prendergast?

Ask any of our students and you will hear, “This is our home.” Besides a visible commitment to Catholic values, a quality education, wonderful choices in extracurricular activities, and impressive recent renovations, students find an extraordinarily strong atmosphere of caring and support that is unmatched anywhere and that lasts long past graduation. Embrace the traditions! Join the family!
